Adaptive Museum
The focus of this semester was adaptation of a conceptual process through differing environmental typologies. The final product, a museum, is constructed based on the wind’s interaction with the unique parameters defined by the topography of the fiery mountains of Tuyoq. This entails a full analysis of how differing wind strengths translate vertically and horizontally over time as they interact with the differing parts of the landscape. The exhibition is housed within the structure formed by the wind while the remaining programs are dispersed across differing levels of the ruins depending on privacy and lighting.
