Beton is a lamp designed to transform our primal understanding of protection. The harsh glow of the concrete mass is countered by the airy nature of the veil placed in front, thus shielding us from harm while emitting a soft glow itself. We are awash with the fullness of the light, yet protected all the same. The materials are raw and direct, conveying the construction and authenticity of the form itself. Sizes and function vary, as it can light a room or serve as task lighting on a desk.
