Venitian Public Housing

Using the canals and Venetian coastline as guidelines for circulation, units are congregated about these winding pathways. These outdoor corridors weave between and around housing blocks, thus shifting between single and double loaded corridors. This creates a multitude of interactive spaces, structured to create private courtyards of varying sizes and levels of intimacy. All circulatory channels are widened to accommodate for light and air access for units, thus supplying a more inviting and adaptable space within.
